Paris Saint-Germain seeks revenge over Kylian Mbappé’s deal

There is no doubt that Kylian Mbappé was the most high-profile transfer of the summer, as his move to the Santiago Bernabéu, despite being seven years delayed, marks Florentino Pérez’s latest achievement in his ongoing efforts to strengthen Real Madrid’s future project.

Mbappé’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain, following the expiration of his contract and his subsequent free transfer to Madrid, has yet to be fully accepted in the French capital. According to “Sport”, Nasser Al-Khelaifi is now planning to fill the void left by the French star with another major acquisition.

The newspaper added that Paris Saint-Germain intends to wait until Vinícius Júnior’s contract with Real Madrid expires in 2027 before attempting to sign him for free.

The report also indicated that, after losing Mbappé without receiving any financial compensation, PSG is looking to take revenge in the same manner, by waiting for two more years and keeping a close watch on the Brazilian. The goal is to strike back at Real Madrid and Florentino Pérez.

The article further stated that within the ranks of the White Club, there is a strong desire to avoid such a scenario. Real Madrid has already begun planning to extend Vinícius’ contract, though the player has requested some time, especially after the shock of losing the Ballon d’Or.
