Spanish press reports have indicated that Real Madrid is considering the possibility of bringing back Brazilian international Casemiro, the midfielder for Manchester United, despite the Brazilian player having a contract with the Red Devils until the summer of 2026.
The Spanish newspaper โMundo Deportivoโ reported, quoting the Brazilian newspaper โTrivelaโ, that Real Madrid is considering the return of Casemiro next January to help address the midfield issues, especially in light of the recent injuries affecting the Merengues.
The report continued by stating that Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of the royal team, would welcome the return of the Brazilian star to the club.
The report also noted that the Brazilian player has no intention of leaving Manchester United anytime soon.
It emphasized that the 32-year-old player is excited about the new direction that the Red Devils are taking under Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim.
The report concluded by mentioning that the midfielder believes his time at Real Madrid is in the past, and he is fully committed to his current role at Manchester United.
Casemiro joined Manchester United in the summer of 2022 from Los Blancos for a fee of 70.65 million euros.
